HOW DO YOU MAKE THE PURSES?
Here is
a description of how our purses are made.
The
"Point of View" Collection: The purses are started with a hand-made
wooden box. There are many details in each purse, and all purses are
made completely by hand. Licensed artwork or photography is added to
each piece. Coordinating fabrics are put inside and on the back of
each purse. Orson's Place is known for details, and the POV's are a
good example. The interior lid is padded and covered with fabric and
finished with color coordinated cording. A mirror is placed on the
inside of each purse. Many of our handles are custom made, and the
hardware used is top quality.
"It's a
Wrap" Collection: These purses are very unique. The artwork is
printed on leather. The leather is then incorporated into a fabric
bag. The fabrics are treated with coatings to help protect them from
stains (similar to furniture). The interiors of the purses are just
as "pretty" as the outside. Most of the handbags include a
swivel-snap for keys, a zipper pocket and a pocket for a cell phone or
items you need to reach fast.
The
"Latitudes" Collection: This collection is made with the same
beautiful fabrics as used in the "It's a Wrap" Collection. The are
all very unique, inside and out.
The
"Othello Collection": These are unique tote bags for the shoulder and
for carrying by hand. Each of these bags features an original cigar
box lid. The lids are set in an epoxy coating for protection before
being incorporated into the handbag. This is a very limited
collection.
DO YOU TAKE CREDIT CARDS?
All
major credit cards are accepted by Orson's Place. Visa, MasterCard,
American Express and Discover. If you place your order online, you
will be able to use PayPal. If you prefer to charge directly through
Orson's Place, you may contact us through email or by telephone. We
can also accept a Money Order or Certified Check for payment.
Personal checks are accepted, but must be cleared through your bank
before shipment.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Because
our purses are made by hand and we have limited numbers in stock, we
are not able to accept returns.
HOW ARE THE PURSES SHIPPED?
Purses
are usually shipped by FEDEX Ground, however, you may request other
shipping methods such as UPS, Priority Mail, etc. Your package will be
insured. We will also ship items overnight, one, two or three day if
you prefer. Please contact us for pricing information.
WHEN WILL YOU SHIP MY ORDER?
In most
cases we can ship your order within five business days. Because we
hand make most of our purses, it will sometimes take up to two weeks
to fill your order. If we expect it to take longer than one week, we
will contact you at the email address you supply.
WHAT IF THERE IS SHIPPING
DAMAGE?
Our
purses are carefully packed according to recommendations by the
carriers. If a purses arrives damaged, please contact us within 48
hours for instructions.
DO
YOU OFFER WHOLESALE PRICING?
Yes, if
you are a retailer interested in our handbag line, please contact us
through email or by telephone. Please include your resale permit
number for your State. International accounts are also welcome.
